Programs Overview

Bilingual Buds proudly offers a continuum of language study for children ages 1-12. The School uses a full immersion and literacy-rich environment for all of its programs, offered in Spanish (New Jersey campus), or Mandarin Chinese (New York and New Jersey campuses). All proficiency levels are welcome.

Day School

An active, academic preschool and primary school that builds the foundation for bilingualism. The Day School meets 5-days per week and offers a rigorous, integrated target language curriculum, as well as a parallel curriculum in English. 

Preschool (ages 2-4) An inquiry-based, “whole child” preschool program.

Pre K / Kindergarten (ages 4-6) A full-day Kindergarten program that welcomes capable Pre K students.

Grades 1-5 An accelerated primary school program designed for students with intermediate to advanced level language proficiency.

Mommy and Me (ages 1-3) A playful, introductory parent and child immersion experience that meets once a week for 8 weeks.

Supplemental Program Supplemental (ages 3-5): A dynamic language program to “supplement” students enrolled in a preschool program outside of Bilingual Buds. Classes meet 2 or 3 days per week.

After School During each 90-minute session, students enter a full immersion environment where inspired teachers bring lessons to life using science, the arts, culture and technology.

Summer Camp A hands-on, "minds on" immersion approach to language camp for ages 2-10. Creative class themes and high energy summer fun.

Summer Camp in Beijing (ages 4-12) A unique travel/immersion experience for students and their families, offered in conjunction with Bilingual Buds’ partner schools in Beijing.
